Oh my! Its been three months since I’ve been updating the blog… Also, one mistake i made when making the logs. I didnt include the year which i wrote it… lol
One thing to be happy about though… I’m still remembered. After all this times of seperation, i still recieve emails and msg from u guys who really cares. Damn i’m touched… I’m so sorry that it is I, that fail to do the same thing but only in replying u guys. I did’nt check friendster frequent now sad to say my online time is too wierd like now (sleeping in the morning and working sometimes)… but as long as i can have a chance to check it, I swear I’ll reply all ur msg’es! I finally got the residential status in Taiwan…. Effort pays!! This is one big step again. With that, I can be free from the three months work permit renewal and freedom from time binding for my chances. My permit needs renew in another 7 months. With the time, I could really concentrate on things now. Geez, it took such a long time for me to settle down. Another good news is, I may be able to get a 1 week break from the company, and with that i’ll go back to Singapore! The time i’ll set now is late OCTOBER, any changes I’ll let all of u know again.
Also, please do not download and buy pirated cds for the sake of music. Wei Jian needs our support now and hope u guys still keep in contact, though everyone is busy at the turning point… Hope everyday is sunday for u guys and thank you so much guys for keeping the memories of me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Sorry guys… This came real late. I was busy with stuffs and just didnt have the time to get myself to type a few words. My bad~ My work permit has gotten into problems again, but now solved for a moment. In Jan i was out of work for a month untill now, cause of the work permit. My company was late on submitting the renewal of my WP, and the approval from the government came late. Bits of this and that, delayed me for a month… Luckily i still have some savings from the work last 3 months, orelse i’d be facing problems with the finance.
How’s the days above u guys now? ORD soon i heard from my poly mates. Come Taiwan for holiday leh~ ^.^ anyways keep in contact~

I went to KL on the 23rd of Oct from Singapore via Hong Kong via Taipei to settle my work visa, and then went back Taipei on 25th Oct. That was the first time that I travel three places in a day. The visa was approved, however, the company will have a need to help me renew the workpass again soon, and i will have to apply the resident pass after that. Working abroad has never been an easy task… I’ve been on live shows now! Still a rookie though, i’ll have to improve and improve cause the company is disabling models nowadays. Six have been cast out last month and more will go… Jeez, getting a job is already hard and now retaining one is as hard.
I met Hwee Ling during my tranfer from Singapore to KL!! She’s working at the airport now, u guys know that? What a coincedence… Man it’s just too rush or i could contact u guys to meet up with me at the airport. When i arrive, its only 4.30pm and the flight to KL is at 8pm when i bought the ticks, so there’s plenty of time if we could meet… Nevermind, next time i’ll be staying and there’ll be plenty of time. How’s u guys nowadays? I think i’m gonna miss the poly chalet :<
Hope i could get some leave during the New Year’s time… Miss u guys~~ Keep in contact yo~

Today is a G.R.E.A.T day~~ today is my first day of work and just came back to settle down and type this out. I’ve got my workpass in taiwan (FINALLY) on last Thursday. I am so very sorry to go MIA’ing (Missing in action) for a month. For the past one month, I’ve been so worried about my workpass ’cause my visa is going to expire soon. If my visa expires, I’ll have to return to Singapore and buy air ticket again and tell my company about the situation and worry that they might terminate my contract and other negative situations. Worry no more, now that I’ve had my workpass, but the government gave me only three months only. I’ll have to re-apply for an extension next month, it’ll be easier I hope…
Today’s work is smooth ,some improvements could be made, and only 3 shows this week though… That’s the way for rookies. After three months of probation, I’ll have an increase in pay and cases. How are you guys doing these days? Have not been hearing from some of you for very long… Pls keep in contact and keep on msg’in me okie?

Schedule’s out! I’m still on recording status, it’s been the second time only till today. I’m STILL waiting for my workpass! I think i’m lucky enough cause i still got the chance to get the recording job as my practice (They have NGs ^.^). I hope i won’t get any NGs in future cause that would change the value of me. I found that the models here were all so dull :< Damn man, i miss poly mates and scc! It’s like becoming a habit of me to live with more livelier people, I mean its hard to break the ice for people like me. Hai~~ Maybe I’m unfamiliar with them, hope that’s the case.
Today was my second level of performance/drama class. It was fun and helped me off all my stress on the shootings today. There was another rookie artist in the class also today. She’s not from Dong Sen, forgot what her company is but she got contracted from singing competitions. I was wondering why some people could get into the music industry that easily by singing competitions, while I still have to develop from modeling… Anyway at least there’s a way for me, though its quite a big gap to music… I missed poly days, more relax, more ways to get around with the rules, more contact with music. I’ll try to find time to go back guys, but it won’t be that soon. Right now, i really need some attention from the producers and the model department. I’ve already gave problem to them as they have to spend effort to take care of my workpass, i don’t wish to get detested here.
Must keep in contact and keep msging and msging me okie? I scared I’ll become a dull person soon…

I’m typing in this very great lan shop in Taipei right at this very moment. Free flow of drinks, nice environment, great PC with great LCD screen and even free flow of baked breads. How great can a lan shop get better then this? Two dayz ago was my birthday, and what do you know! I’ve recieved overseas calls from my poly mates! Wow, i’m so touched! Getting overseas calls from my unforgetable and cute poly mates on my 21st birthday! How many 21st birthday do i have right? Anyways, here’s a billion billion thankz and thankz from me guys.
I’ve recieved my first assignment from all the waiting, although i have not had my workpass in Taiwan. The assignment is to be recorded into VCR therefore, it is legal as they won’t show it before i recieve my workpass. I’m not sure what i’ll be doing infront of the cams but i hope i won’t look stupid enough to destroy the visuals. I’ll do my very best and the very best they will see that i’ll do. I’ll be taking my assignment schedule on Monday, that is today. After i’ve got my workpass here (about two to three weeks), i’ll confirm when it will be my long holidays so that i could plan to go back and look up you guys. Before then, pls keep in contact and keep on msging me to keep me occupied okiez? ^.^

The application to apply for the work pass is sent yesterday, I guess. I will still have to wait for another week till the government replies. Yeah! It’s been a while since I’ve been contracted and it will take longer if I had not rush them for that! Can’t blame them… What am I right? What am I that they should pay attention on right? (Sigh) Frankly, I’m quite worried about the outcome of the application. Hope it will sail smoothly, and I’ll be waiting…again
Just when I was typing this blog, I tried to on my HP. It asked for a PIN number, so I keyed it in. Then, it asked for a PUK number. Yeah! What in the holy sh*t is a PUK number? Well, for some reason I made it through from keying in 8-digit number. Then, it asked for a new PIN number and a re-key of the new PIN number. It failed and I tried again. Finally, it showed me “SIM card is being locked”. I WAS *%^@$%@^*!!! I called the service number and they said the SIM card cannot be unlocked and the information inside cannot be retrieved. I will have to apply for a new SIM card for $300(Taiwan Dollars). I WAS *%^@$%@^* AND *%^@$%@^*!!! Tomorrow I will question them, and if they still ask for $300 I will *%^@$%@^* them. When I subscribe for the service and bought the phone, they did not say that there will be some code breaking if I re-on the HP. Absurd isn’t?
Anyway, I’ll leave that till tomorrow. Oh I’ve created a photo album in friendster and I’ll be updating photos there, so take a peek if you like…or not… I haven’t been hearing from some of you guys lately. So if its possible, drop me some msg’es okay?

Yesterday was the last training day of the modeling course (too tired to update this yesterday). Modeling in shopping channel is very very different, its much more then a model. Its like besides showing products in the shopping channel everyday, we have to take on cases if there is a need for us to attend a show galleries/show exhibitions, cover shots for some magazines, or taking shots overseas to promote travel. It ain’t easy to be a model…
Went through alot of stuffs during the training, like stage positioning, posing, stage formation, ways to display a product, stuffs like that…
We have to keep our mindset on the product as we are showing the product and not ourselves. We have to move according to the shots the camera are taking; e.g. Long Shot (Big movements), Bust Shot (Moving only on the spot) and Close Shot (Moving slowly and only on the spot). If models are showing products in an external location without camera shots, then the movements would be more free. Sometimes we have to do an acting shot (body language only, no speech) to show how to use a product or a before and after use (not a real before and after, just a show)
I’ve also come to realise that male model must also prepare their own makeup belongings (first time in my life buying makeup….) and makeup on their on before any shows. They did went through a brief basic on how to makeup during the course, but i think its really too basic, i’ll have to question more on the makeup artist more about this. Why don’t the makeup artist help to do the job? ‘Cause by the time we will be going on for a show, there will be alot of models waiting for makeup, we will have to do it on our own if there’s no time.
Now i’ll be waiting for my work pass in Taiwan before i can start work. If it ain’t approved, my contract would be void. Hope that i can get the work pass successfully, if not i’ll be @#$@#$%^&*()_#$%^&*()_+^#$%#$#$. My HP did not include a connection to the computer! Therefore i cannot upload pictures i’ve taken… i’ll try to get it soon. Keep in contact guys and take care.
